Lee Morley

Chief Executive Officer

Lee brings extensive commercial experience gained over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President, Head of Commercial for Europe and International Markets at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, and previously held several senior commercial positions, including Regional Vice President at EUSA Pharma (prior to its acquisition by Jazz Pharmaceuticals) and Director of Sales Effectiveness at the specialty oncology and critical care company Zeneus Pharma. Lee has held a number of management positions in sales and marketing at Merck, Sharp and Dohme (MSD).

Emma Johnson

Chief Financial Officer

Emma has more than 10 years experience in healthcare companies. She completed the ACCA qualification as a chartered accountant and has acted in both financial and commercial director positions, including the senior management team of EUSA Pharma (prior to its acquisition by Jazz Pharmaceuticals).

Jeffrey S. Hackman

President US Operations

Jeff brings 30 years' commercial pharmaceutical experience, including extensive expertise gained in the oncology field. He joins EUSA from rare disease company Novelion Therapeutics, where he was acting CEO. Prior to this he was Senior VP and Head of US Internal Medicine / Oncology at Shire Inc. Previously, he was responsible for establishing the North American oncology commercial division for Baxalta, following several years leading US commercial operations for Sigma Tau. He also held senior roles in a number of other pharmaceutical companies.

Nick Rhys-Jones

Head of Commercial Operations

Nick has over 20 years of successful pharmaceutical experience in a variety of sales and marketing roles at local, regional and global levels. He was previously Marketing Director for the UK affiliate of Sankyo Ltd, before leading the development of the European Commercial Operations Group for Daiichi Sankyo in Munich. In his last position as Senior Vice President for the Daiichi Sankyo Group he was responsible for a number of successful product launches and joint venture partnerships.

Jonathan Morgan

Medical Director

With more than 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry gained through medical director and medical affairs positions at Takeda, GSK, Actelion and Lundbeck, Jonathan joined EUSA Pharma as regional Medical Director (prior to its acquisition by Jazz Pharmaceuticals) and played a key role in the medical department as Head of International Medical Affairs.

Ben Owens

Head of Business Development

With a PhD in Immunology, 8 years pre-clinical and translational research experience at the University of Oxford and UCB Pharma, Ben brings considerable experience in biotech and biopharma start-up and academic spin-out company development. He has completed Healthcare entrepreneurship programmes at INSEAD, Paris and Saïd Business School.

David Morse

Head Of Technical Operations

David has more than 35 years’ experience in the, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices and CRO industry sectors, and has held senior positions within Quality, Manufacturing and Operations at a number of international companies including Novartis, Syneos Health, Quintiles, Norgine, Sigma Aldrich and Cardinal Health. In addition to his extensive experience, David holds an MBA from the university of Surrey.

Claire Harding

Human Resources Director

Claire worked for 15 years at Dutch Rabobank Group across various roles before joining EUSA Pharma in April 2015. She has a Master’s in Human Resource Management and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Dev Kumar

Head of Legal and Compliance

Dev has over 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries in a variety of regional and international legal and compliance roles, in private practice in a City law firm and at UCB, Boehringer Ingelheim and Biogen. As well as being a lawyer, Dev is a qualified medical doctor and worked in various teaching hospital posts for several years.
